Real Time Display Energy Certificate (DEC)

The Workplace Footprint Tracker can display a simplified Real Time DEC (not a replacement for the statutory DEC). This allows organisations to visually demonstrate the actual energy performance and energy efficiency of buildings. The DEC dashboard can be presented on digital signs in public areas of an organisation. This allows all organisations (whether or not they have a requirement for a statutory DEC) to demonstrate best practice in energy efficiency.

The Workplace Footprint Tracker DEC comprises the most important indicator: the Operational Rating (OR). In addition, the name of the bullding and the Total Useful Floor Area (TUFA) are stated. The energy performance is shown from a carbon footprint perspective. Alternatively it can be shown from a cost perspective.

The Real Time DEC is also able to reflect the contribution of on-site renewables (OSR) or low and zero carbon (LZC) technologies to the energy performance of buildings.

The Operational Rating is updated every time new meter readings are collected by the Workplace Footprint Tracker.
