The Energy Manager's Blog:
Improves communication and encourages participation

The blog feature enables energy managers and other authorised users to log specific actions taken to reduce energy use and link these to The Workplace Footprint Tracker graphs and charts to demonstrate the impact on energy consumption. Progress against targets can be recorded and communicated in more detail with all building users.

Blog entries can be made directly onto the charts or graphs which provide an explanation for the data trend information. The messages are shown in the line chart as dots with pop-ups to provide a conversational format. It is possible to include an image in the blog and to attach documents.

Users can also add their own comment to the blog to encourage greater participation in energy saving initiatives.
