George Bartley: Managing Director

George Bartley has a passion for emerging communications technology and how it can be applied to resolve every day workplace related issues. He has worked as a workplace technology consultant for many blue chip clients including GSK, Royal Bank of Scotland and The British Library.
George founded Building Zones Ltd in 2003. Building Zones provides a wireless building portal which provides guests easy access to online services including internet access. This is offered as a managed service and it is currently in use by The British Library, BBC, British Land, a leading Management Consultant, CIPD and many more.
Prior to this, George had 12 years experience in mobile communications working for LM Ericsson in Product Management and Business Development. He was responsible for wireless PBX and remote network access products and was involved in the GPRS and 3G operator business unit. George’s interests extend to developing nations with a program to promote IT use and entrepreneurship in schools in Ghana.
George was awarded a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand.
Torbjorn Johnson - Technical Director

Torbjorn is currently the founding CEO of DACC Systems AB. Prior to that he had 30 years of experience at Ericsson, including roles as General Manager of Ericsson's Home Communication Unit developing consumer oriented products, Director of New Technologies and Concepts and General Manager of Total Solutions Development at Ericsson Telecom. Torbjorn has an MSc from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
Jason Green - Operations Director

Jason’s focus is the emerging mobile and wireless technologies and their impact on Information Technology. Jason is an expert and commentator on leading edge technologies such as IP Telephony, Bluetooth, WiFi, WiMAX, WUSB and 3/4G. In 1999 he helped to pioneer the use of WiFi for fixed broadband connectivity and worked with the DTI to unlicense the 2.4GHz radio spectrum. He is now a pioneer of secure and robust 2nd Generation multi service wireless networks.
Hans Holmlund - Head of Development

Hans is one of the main architects behind the footprint tracker as well as one of the main architects and developers of the Excito Servicebase plattform.
Prior to this Hans has 10 years of experience working as an IT consultant doing architecture and design of IT systems for a broad range of organizations, including banking, the pharmaceutical industry and the Swedish National Police Board. He has a deep knowledge in complex IP and Telecom systems and has been working in many projects concerning home automation (with Vattenfall and Eon). Hans has a Master in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Social Sciences.
Mikael Söderman

As a skilled systems and application developer with more than 10 years of experience in web based development Mikael Söderman has profound knowledge of all parts of the development cycle. Prior experiences include consultancy work in the fields of e-commerce, life sciences and ip-based communication as well as development of medical imaging applications. Mikael is one of the founders of Excito Systems HB as well as one of the main architects and developers behind the Servicebase platform.
Mikael has a Master in Computer Science.
Lars-Erik Eriksson

Lars-Erik has more than 30 years of experience in R&D in the telecommunications and information technology. His positions in the industry and university sectors include Acting Professor at Royal Institute of Technology, Head of Corporate Development at Telia AB, Director of Technology at Ericsson Telecom, Managing Director of Ellemtel AB. He has a Dr of Technology degree from Telecommunication Theory at Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. Lars-Erik is a member of The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences.
Philip Ross: Non Executive Director

Philip is CEO of the Cordless Group and editor of UNWIRED™. He is a consultant, commentator and researcher on technology and futures and has pioneered research the impact of new technologies on cities, work, leisure, education and healthcare.
He has worked with organisations such as Ernst & Young, Allen & Overy, GlaxoSmithKline, Nottingham City Council, Edinburgh’s Telford College, Jones Lang LaSalle and Ericsson on future concepts based on emerging cordless technologies.
Philip has spoken at conferences around the world including the Wall Street Journal Europe CEO Forum on Converging Technologies, alt.office in the USA and Corenet’s Global Summits in Beijing and Melbourne. In 1994 he wrote and published The Cordless Office Report and will launch a new report, the Wireless Workplace in Autumn 2006. He has written three books on the future of cities, work and workplace: The Creative Office, The 21st Century Office and Space to Work, which was published in October 2006 (all co-authored with Jeremy Myerson).
